Dear Friends:

After a successful first outing, the Waldwick Baseball/Softball Association (WBSA) is pleased to announce that our 2nd Annual WBSA Golf Outing will be held on Wednesday, May 16th, 2012 at Black Bear Golf Course.

The success of this outing and the generosity of our many friends, volunteers, and sponsors will assist in maintaining player registration costs, defray facility operating costs and allow us to continue to make improvements to the field and grounds.

A portion of the proceeds will also go towards our WBSA sponsored scholarships to a Waldwick High School graduating Baseball and Softball class member in recognition for sports as well as academic achievements.

In preparation of the upcoming 2012 season, the WBSA has worked very hard to make improvements to our program for the youth of Waldwick. Our charter is to provide all WBSA players the very best baseball and softball experience. Through encouragement and good example, we help assure that our children learn good sportsmanship and self discipline, teach our children to work together and sacrifice for the good of the team, to enjoy winning and deal appropriately with defeat- all while becoming physically fit and healthy. Above all else, keeping in mind we are about having fun. We feel that through organized leagues and instructional clinics we can promote the benefits of teamwork to achieve a set of common goals.

The WBSA wish to thank you for your ongoing support and we look forward to seeing you at this year’s event. It gives us great pride in being able to help out the community and our children of Waldwick.
